JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to First Team Manager
Safeguarding
Provide assistance with any safeguarding concerns and investigations within the Women’s section.
Ensure that all Safeguarding Standards, as defined by the FAWNL are met or exceeded.
Support players in ongoing management of concerns, including the reporting of such concerns, using the appropriate channels.
Observe practice of colleagues when engaging with children, young people and vulnerable groups and act and record this appropriately.
Attend training, meetings, networking events and CPD, as required.
Player Care
Assist with the Player Care provision in the women’s section, ensuring that all Player Care Standards, as defined by the FAWNL are met or exceeded.
Provide support and guidance to Players in relation to their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Maintain working relationships with external partners to include FAWNL.
Assist with the Inductions, Exits and Transitions of players, in adherence to the strategy.
Being present around the first team including evenings and weekends, to represent Player Care and develop relationships with players and parents/carers and staff.
Attend meetings to represent Player Care and advocate on behalf of players, parents/carers and staff.
SKILLS
Current FA Level 2 (desireable) or working towards
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
Enhanced DBS
Experience working within youth players
Worked within female football previously
